Comments
Comment (Development): MUCH OF THE DEVELOPMENT WORK WAS DONE BY TIMCO, INC., UNDER A LEASE AGREEMENT IN 1953.
Comment (Deposit): SCHEELITE IS DISSEMINATED IN TACTITE BODIES ALONG THE LIMESTONE-QUARTZ MONZONITE CONTACT, LENSES OF SCHEELITE-RICH SILICATED IS ALSO OCCUR ALONG FRACTURES.
Comment (Workings): A 56 FT. LONG, S72W ADIT WITH A CONNECTING S72E, 35 FT. LONG DRIFT THAT OPENS AT THE SOUTH, ABOVE WAIST LEVEL TO THE OUTSIDE, GIVING THE APPEARANCE OF AN ADIT. SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET WEST OF THE ADIT, OPENCUTS AND PITS EXPLORED A 6-10 FT. WIDE, ZONE TACTITE ZONE.
Comment (Deposit): THE S72W, 56 FT. ADIT CROSSCUTS THE TACTITE ZONE OF THE PRINCIPAL LS.-QTZ. MONZONITE CONTACT; THE S72E CONNECTING DRIFT WAS DEVELOPED ALONG THE CONTACT. THE SOUTHWEST-TRENDING ADIT ENDS IN A STOPED-OUT SEMICIRCULAR ROOM OF ABOUT 20 FT. IN DIA. THE WORKINGS WEST OF THE UNDERGROUND WORKINGS ARE ON AN APOPHYSE OF QUARTZ MONZONITE. ; INFO.SRC : 3 FIELD OBSERV; 1 PUB LIT
