Comment (Deposit): IRON-STAINED RIB OF HYDROTHERMALLY-DEPOSITED SILICEOUS FISSURE-FILLING TRENDS NW AND APPEARS TO FILL A BEDDING PLANE. (LOOKS LIKE A GOSSANY JASPEROSO.) ROCKS STRONGLY OXIDIZED, FE-MN-STATURATED, VUGGY, COATED WITH CALICHE ON SURFACES AND FILLING VUGS. RIB APPEARS TO BE FAULTED DOWNSLOPE OF PROJECTED OCCURRENCE. ROCKS CUT BY FINE SILICA VEINLETS; BRECCIA FRAGMENTS ARE LIMONITE STAINED AND GOSSANY. IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF SAMPLE SITE, CARBONATES ARE COVERED BY RHYOLITIC VOLCANICS, WITH SINTER IN FLOAT.
