Comments

Comment (Deposit): ADIT EXPLORES LOWER PLATE OF A THRUST FAULT WHERE MISS MONTECRISTO LIMESTONE OVERRIDES TRIASSIC MOENKOPI FM, PROMINENT N50W, 90 SHEAR AT PROTAL. MINERALIZATION APPEARS TO BE CONFINED TO OXIDIZED MN MINERALS DEPOSITED IN FAULT ZONES, WITH MOST OF THE MINERALIZATION CONFINED TO THE VERTICAL SHEAR ZONE. THE SAND/SILTSTONE WAS HIGHLY FRACTURED AND CRUSHED AND HEAVILY FE-STAINED. OVERLYING THE SILICEOUS SEDIMENTS WAS A UNIT OF THINLY-BEDDED GREY CARBONATE (MOENKOPI OR TOROWEAP FM?). SURFACE SCRAPING NE OF ADIT FOLLOWS CONTACT BETWEEN SANDSTONE AND SILTSTONE. ABUNDANT MN02 STAIN THROUGHOUT AREA.

Comment (Location): AT NW END OF JUMBLED MOUNTAIN

Comment (Workings): SINGLE ADIT TRENDING S50E, SURFACE SCRAPING NE OF ADIT, MORE ROADS THAN ARE SHOWN ON TOPO MAP
