LYNDON LIMESTONE AND UNDIFFERENITATED CAMBRAN DOLOMITE, DUMPS CONSIST OF SILICIFIED CARBONATE BRECCIA CEMENTED WITH CALCITE, SIDERITE, AND HEMATITE-STAINED SILICA.SULFIDES OCCURING IN BRECCIA ARE OXIDIZED WITH A FEW FRESH GRAINS, AND CONSIST OF FINE-GRAINED PYRITE, GALENA, SPHALERITE (?), WHICH HAVE ALTERED TO FE OXIDES, MALACHITE, CHRYSOCOLLA, LIMONITE, AND POSSIBLY SOME MINOR SMITHSONITE. LATE-STAGE SILICA COATS SURFACES AND DRUSY QUARTZ FILLS VUGS AND COATS FRACTURE SURFACES. FAULT IN SHAFT AT N END OF WORKINGS WHERE A SILICEOUS, IRON OXIDE-STAINED RIB OUTCROPS, WITHSILICEOUDS, RIB PARALLEL TO MAIN RIB. ROCKS IN VICINITY OF FAULT ZONE ARE HYDROTHERMALLY ALTERED AND HAVE COOKED APPEARANCE. ABUNDANT GOSSAN OCCURS NEAR, AND ASSOCIATED WITH THE FAULT.
