STIMLER DID SOME NEAR-SURFACE WORK IN EARLY 1900'S, WHEN THE PROPERTY WAS KNOWN AS THE STIMLER MINE. IN ABOUT 1909, W.H. COLVIN, MILLIONAIRE CHICAGO BROKER, BOUGHT IS AND NAMED IT NIVLOC ("COLVIN", SPELLED BACKWARDS,) MINE WAS DORMANT, 1923-1928. COLVIN REOPENED IT IN 1928, WHEN IT WAS COMPRISED OF 13 CLAIMS
