Comment (Development): WASSON LOCATED THE MISSOURI LODE AND SITE FOR THE MISSOURI MILL IN 1901 (ALTHOUGH THE CLAIM HAD BEEN MINED 15-20 YEARS EARLIER) HE HAD THE AREA PATENTED IN 1903, AND IT LATER WAS ACQUIRED BY THE HANCHETTS.
