Comment (Deposit): A FEW SPOTS IN A TERTIARY BENTONITIC CONGLOMERATE ARE SLIGHTLY RADIOACTIVE; COAL BED IS EXPOSED AT SURFACE.

Comment (Workings): BULLDOZER CUTS AND SEVERAL SMALL PITS, SHALLOW ADIT, 2 SHAFTS.

Comment (Geology): THE CONGLOMERATE MAY BE NEAR THE BASE OF A TERTIARY CLASTIC SECTION WHICH HERE OVERLIES THE ORDOVICIAN PALMETTO FORMATION.
