Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Workings): WORKING CONSIST OF A COUPLE OF DOZER CUTS IN GRAND DIORITE, WHICH IS CUT BY MASSIVE QUARTZ VEINS.
Comment (Deposit): QUARTZ OCCURS IN MASSIVE BULL QUARTZ VIENS AND AS INTERSEPTS IN FELDSPAR RICH PEGMITITE DIKE.
Comment (Geology): SERICITE BANDS OCCUR AT CONTACT BETWEEN PEGMATITE AND GRANODIORITE. PEGMATITE DIKE IS ABOUT 20 FT WIDE, CUT WITH GREEN MICA, CONTAINS BIOTITE CHRYSTALS UP TO 1 INCH; FE OXIDE ALONG FRACTURES, DENDRITIC PYROLUSITE AND CHORITIZED IN AREAS. DIKE TRENDS N20W. FELDSPAR APPEARS TO BE PLAGIOCLASE WITH ORTHOCLASE(?).
