Comments
Comment (Location): ON WEST SIDE OF LONE MOUNTAIN ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)
Comment (Development): INACTIVE AT TIME OF EXAMINATION IN 1983
Comment (Workings): SEVERAL ADITS, STOPES, PITS, DRIFTS
Comment (Deposit): WORKINGS OCCUR ALONG A BRECCIATED ZONE BEDDING IN BLEACHED,RECRYSTALIZED DOLOMITE. LAMPROPHYRE DIKES CUT THE SECTION, CAUSING SILICATION NEAR THEIR CONTACT ZONES. THE BEDDING-CONTROLLED MINERALIZATION EXPOSED IN THE UPPER STOPE SHOWS CRUSTS AND FILLINGS OF MNO AND CU OXIDES WHICH ALSO FILL AROUND AND BETWEEN BLOCKS OF DELOMITE. DOLOMITE BLOCKS ARE RECRYSTALLIZED;WOLLASTONITE OCCURS AS RIMS ON THE BLOCK, AND THE OXIDE MINERALS INTERMIX WITH THE AND COAT THE WOLLASTONITE. MINERALS NOTED ARE MN OXIDES, MORPHITE, AURICHALCITE,MALACHITE, CALCITE,WOLLASTONITE, CERAGYRITE?ARGENTITE? CONTACT ZONE ALONG EDGE OF LONE MOUNTAIN PLUTON IS0.5 MILE WIDE.
