Comments
Comment (Location): INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)
Comment (Development): INACTIVE IN 1984
Comment (Deposit): WORKINGS EXPLORE QUARTZ VEINS ALONG SHEAR ZONES IN DIORITE AND HORNFELS. EASTERN SHAFT IS IN DIORITE; WESTERN SHAFT HAS DIORITE ON EAST WALL, HORNFELS ON WEST. VEINS ARE MOSTLY WHITE QUARTZ, BUT ARE BRECCIATED AND RECEMENTED WITH QUARTZ AND HEMATITE. WALLROCK KAOLINIZED NEAR VEINS. CLOTS OF PALE GREEN CRYSTALLINE MINERAL (ARSENATE?) COAT FRACTURE SURFACES, SLICKENSIDES ON FAULT SURFACES.
Comment (Workings): 2 VERTICAL SHAFTS, CUTS
Comment (Geology): THE TOP OF THE SMALL HILL AT THE PROSPECT IS UNDERLAIN BY DIORITE, SILICATED ROCKS LIE BOTH EAST AND WEST OF THE DIORITE
