Comments
Comment (Development): NO ACTIVITY IN 1984. PROBABLY VERY MINOR PRODUCTION?
Comment (Deposit): DRUSY AND MASSIVE QUARTZ VEIN MATTER OCCURS ALONG A PROBABLE THRUST FAULT WHICH SEPARATES (IN GENERAL) HANGING WALL BLACK CHERT FROM FOOTWALL GREENSTONE. FAULT APPEAR TO ENCIRCLE ALMOST COMPLETELY AN INLIER OF LOWER PLATE. DIP OF THE FAULT VARIES FROM 25 TO 50 DEGREES. AT A WESTERN PIT, A HIGH-ANGLE (LATER?) CROSS-CUTTING FAULT (N 40 W, 80 SW) ALSO IS MINERALIZED. VEIN MATERIAL IS ENTIRELY OXIDIZED, AS ELSEWHERE IN THE DISTRICT. MALACHITE, COPPER PITCH, AND LIMONITE GOSSAN ARE COMMON. THE FOOTWALL TO THE VEIN IS A LIGHT GRAY GOUGE.
Comment (Workings): SEVERAL OPEN CUTS UP TO 10 X 10 M; SEVERAL SHORT ADITS, BULLDOZER CUTS.
Comment (Location): INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)
