Comments

Comment (Development): NO ACTIVITY IN 1984, HOWEVER SOME RECENT DRILLING HAS BEEN DONE NEARBY, PROBABLY BY EXXON FOR PRECIOUS METALS. SHALLOW STOPES WOULD INDICATE PROBABLE SMALL GOLD PRODUCTION

Comment (Deposit): ACCORDING TO ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM MIKE BRADY AND PETER VIKRE, ANOMALOUS NI AND CR VALUES ARE FOUND IN THIS AREA. THESE VALUES ARE REPORTED TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH A MICA WITH THE X-RAY PATTERN OF SERICITE. THE GREEN ENCRUSTATIONS FOUND ON CHALCEDONIC VEINLETS AND SILICA-RICH PARTS OF WAD AND LIMONITE GOSSAN WERE SAMPLED. THE MINERALIZED ZONE OCCURS ALONG A N 15 W, 35 SW ZONE OF STOPING ALONG AN OXIDIZED VEIN (NOW GOSSAN). THE ZONE IS DUE NORTH OF AND ON STRIKE WITH STRUCTURES MINERALIZED AT THE ADELAIDE CROWN MINES.

Comment (Workings): A FEW SHALLOW STOPES AND SEVERAL DEEP BULLDOZER CUTS

Comment (Location): 0.5 MILE NORTH OF ADELAIDE CROWN MINES . INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)
