Comments
Comment (Location): SEVERAL MILES ON FOOT UP BOX CANYON AND NORTH 0.5 MILE ABOVE BOX CANYON SPRING NO. 2 (ON TOPO). ROAD CANNOT BE SEEN FROM BOX CANYON . INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)
Comment (Development): OLD WORKINGS; HEADFRAME OF SHAFT STILL STANDING IN GOOD CONDITION, BUT ROAD IS GONE
Comment (Deposit): QUARTZ VEINS IN METASILISTONE. SHAFT WAS SUNK ON A VEIN THAT IS BRECCIATED NEAR THE SURFACE ALTHOUGH MOST OF THE QUARTZ MATERIAL ON THE DUMP IS NOT BRECCIATED. NUMEROUS BULL QUARTZ VEINS OUT CROP ALONG THE MOUNTAIN SIDE AND LITTER THE LANDSCAPE AS SKREE.
Comment (Workings): SINGLE INCLINE SHAFT WITH HEADFRAME. INCLINE IS TRACKED AND APPEARS TO BE STILL USABLE
