Comments
Comment (Development): ROTARY DRILLING IN THIS DISTRICT, POSSIBLY IN THE GENERAL AREA OF THIS PROPERTY BY THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC CO, HAS ENCOUNTERED A CONSIDERABLE VOLUME OF ROCK ANOMALOUS IN HG, SB, AS, AG AND AU.
Comment (Deposit): AN OLDER SHAFT AND A PIT EXPLORE A SILICIFIED BRECCIA ZONE IN SHALE AND QUARTZITES IRON OXIDE MINERALS ARE COMMON IN THE ZONE, AND MOST OF THE BRECCIATED ROCK IS STRONGLY SILICIFIED. PYRITE CAN BE SEEN ON A FEW FRESHLY BROKEN SURFACES. THE NEW HEADFRAME IS ON A 35 DEGREES INCLINED SHAFT. THIS INCLINATION DOES NOT FIT WITH THE HIGH-ANGLE MINERALIZED ZONE OBSERVED 20 M TO THE NW. THEREFORE, A LOW-ANGLE STRUCTURE COULD BE PRESENT IN THE UNDER GROUND WORKINGS. A PROSPECT 250 M TO THE SW NEAR THE WASH HAS A 20 N ADIT ALONG A N 15 E, 70 NW FAULT ZONE.
Comment (Workings): AN INCLINED SHAFT (35 DEGREES); SEVERAL PITS. A METAL HEADFRAME OF FAIRLY RECENT VINTAGE IS IN PLACE AT THE SHAFT. WORKING ARE SHALLOW AND NOT EXTENSIVE
