Comment (Geology): THE HOST ROCK IS A PURPLISH BROWN SILICIFIED ASHFLOW TUFF WITH LOCALLY ABUNDANT CRYSTALS AND LITHIC FRAGMENTS. THE TUFF IS COMMONLY HIGHLY VESICULAR.
