Comment (Deposit): SILICEOUS VOLCANIC ROCK HAS BEEN SILICIFIED AND IS CROSSED BY BROKEN ZONES STAINED WITH LIMONITE. SHAFTS HAVE BEEN SUNK IN THE AREAS OF GREATEST ALTERATION.
Comment (Commodity): ALTHOUGH NO CINNABAR WAS SEEN IN OUTCROPS, PITS, OR DUMPS, A SINGLE PAN OF A COMPOSITE SAMPLE TAKEN CHIEFLY FROM THE DUMP OF THE DEEPEST SHAFT WAS FOUND TO CONTAIN MORE THAN 50 GRAINS OF CINNABAR.
