Comments
Comment (Location): OLD MINING SITE WITH CONSIDERABLE WORKINGS ON BOTH SIDES OF CANYON; MAY BE ACTUAL SITE OF TALLULA MINE . INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)
Comment (Development): EXTENSIVE DUMPS AND WORKING INDICATE SOME PAST PRODUCTION; PROBABLY 1930-1950 ACTIVITY, NO RECENT ACTIVITY EXCEPT FOR ROADWORK.
Comment (Deposit): MILKY WHITE QUARTZ VEINS UP TO 2 FT THICK CUTTING SHALE AND GRANODIORITE. VEINS SEEM TO WEAKEN IN THE GRANODIORITE. STOPING ON VEIN SEGMENTS IN HORNFELS AT THE GRANODIORITE HORNFELS CONTACT; APPEARS TO BE AN IRREGULAR CONTACT. VEIN CONTAINS SPOTS OF TETRAHEDRITE; GREEN CU OXIDES.
Comment (Workings): EXTENSIVE DUMPS, LOWER ADIT, SEVERAL CUTS AND CAVED ADITS.
