Comment (Location): IN SOLID SILVER CREEK . INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)
Comment (Development): OLD MILL RUINS INDICATE SOME SMALL PAST PRODUCTION; NO ACTIVITY IN1984, BUT 2 NEW RECENT CUTS MADE AT COLLAR OF LOWER SHAFT.
Comment (Deposit): MASSIVE WHITE VEIN QUARTZ ON MINE AND MILL DUMPS; POSSIBLE VEIN OUTCROP NEAR UPPER SHAFT. N 30 E, VERTICAL SHEAR, 1 FT WIDE, WITH VUGGY QUARTZ, CUTTING PHYLLITE WALLROCK. VEIN QUARTZ CONTAINS SULFIDES, AND IS BRECCIATED. SULFIDES FORM BRECCIA MATRIX COATING QUARTZ FRAGMENTS. PHYLLITE CLEAVES N 30 E; SHEARING AND VEINING APPARENTLY FOLLOW ROCK CLEAVAGE.
