Comments

Comment (Workings): ONE FAIRLY LONG ADIT WITH A STEEL BULK HEAD DOOR THAT WAS UNLOCKED BUT HAD DYNAMITE SCATTERED AROUND ON THE GROUND INSIDE THE DOOR. DOZER CUT 600 FT NORTH OF ADIT.

Comment (Development): STAKED ON 3 OCT 1983 BY WESCORD- NO OTHER ACTIVITY.

Comment (Deposit): ADIT WAS DRIVEN ON A SHEAR IN GRANITE, PARTLY FILLED WITH BOTH GOUGE AND QUARTZ STRINGERS. LOCALLY THERE ARE FELSIC DIKES ALSO CROSS-CUTTING THE GANODIORITE. SAMPLE 2931 WAS TAKEN FROM THE VEIN INSIDE THE ADIT. SAMPLE 2932 WAS TAKEN FROM A PROSPECT DOZER CUT ABOUT 600 FT N OF THE ADIT WHERE A HYDROTHERMALLY ALTERED VEIN IN A SHEAR ZONE IS EXPOSED. THE SHEAR WAS PARTLY FILLED WITH A FELSIC DIKE AND QUARTZ STRINGERS. MINERALIZATION INCLUDED MINOR COPPER AND POSSIBLY SILVER IN UNIDENTIFIED SULFIDES.

Comment (Location): UTM IS FOR ADIT AT SAMPLE SITE 2931. UTM FOR SAMPLE SITE 2932 IS N 4499320, E331780. . INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)
