Comments

Comment (Location): SIGN ON ROAD SAYS THIS IS CALLED ELDORADO. . INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)

Comment (Deposit): VEIN QUARTZ OCCURS AS SPOTTY, STOCKWORK-LIKE VEINS IN QUARTZITES. THE VEINS CONTAIN LIMONITE BOXWORKS AND DRUSY LIMONITE-COATED CAVITIES. THE VEINS APPEAR TO BE TENSION-GASH FILLINGS IN BOUDINS OF QUARTZITE SURROUNDED BY PHYLLITE. SIMILAR VEINING WAS OBSERVED AT THE NEARBY GOLDEN AMETHYST MINE. THE COMPOSITIONAL LAYERING, AND FOLIATION TRENDS N60E, 30NW. THE STOCK-WORK-LIKE GASH FILLINGS OCCUR IN A QUARTZITE LAYER. DRUSY QUARTZ CAVITIES ARE COATED WITH MN OXIDE STAIN AND FE OXIDE STAIN.

Comment (Workings): ADIT, BULLDOZER CUT, NUMEROUS BULLDOZER ROADS.
