Comments

Comment (Location): NEAR SADDLE MINE. UNSURVEYED. . INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)

Comment (Workings): TWO ADITS ON NE SIDE OF RIDGE; SMALL MILL AND CONCENTRATOR; PROSPECT.

Comment (Development): NO ACTIVITY AT TIME OF EXAMINATION; A SMALL MILL AND CONCENTRATOR WERE PRESENT, BUT NO LONGER OPERABLE.

Comment (Deposit): WORKINGS FOLLOW IRON-STAINED, BRECCIATED VEIN SYSTEMS WITH HIGHLY IRREGULAR DIPS AND STRIKES. THEY ARE RELATIVELY SMALL WITH VERY LITTLE ROOM TO DEVELOP WITHOUT DROPPING BELOW THE RIDGE. SAMPLE 2966 WAS SELECTED FROM SULFIDE-BEARING QUARTZ VEIN IN ADIT AND ON DUMP. SAMPLE 2967 WAS FROM A SMALL QUARTZ VEIN/GOSSAN OUTCROP-VERY OXIDIZED, VUGGY, PARTLY BRECCIATED.
