Comment (Deposit): SHAFT SUNK ON MARBLEIZED LIMESTONE/GRANITE CONTACT (GRANITE TO EAST, MARBLE AND HORNFELS TO WEST. BEDDING IN METASEDIMENTS AT SHAFT IS CONTURTED, STRIKE N 40-50 E, DIP 45-50 NW. A LENS OF MARBLE IS EXPOSED AT SHAFT COLLAR OVERLAIN TO WEST BY HORNFELS. FINE-GRAINED, BANDED GARNET-EPIDOTE-DIOPSIDE TACTITE WITH CLOTS OF WHITE QUARTZ FOUND ON SHAFT DUMP, SPARSE SCHEELITE PRESENT.
