Comments

Comment (Location): UTM TO SAMPLE SITE 3908. UTM FOR SAMPLE SITE 3929 25 N 4370000 E 0405260 ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)

Comment (Development): MS #3064. SIZE OF WORKINGS WOULD INDICATE AT LEAST SOME SMALL PAST PRODUCTION. NO ACTIVITY IN 1986, BUT SURROUNDING AREA HAS BEEN RECENTLY STAKED BY ERICKSON (1979-1980)

Comment (Deposit): WORKINGS FOLLOW THE GENERALLY E-W STRIKING VEIN SYSTEM. THERE IS A 200-300 FT BLOCKY OUTCROP OF SILICIFIED RHYOLITE NEAR THE PORTAL OF THE ADIT. WORKINGS FOLLOW A 5-6 FT THICK SILICIFIED BRECCIA FORMED ALONG A FAULT ZONE WHICH INCLUDES A 6-INCH THICK LENS OF LIMONITE-STAINED BRECCIATED QUARTZ VEIN. THE WALLROCK IS COMPOSED OF BLEACHED, KAOLINIZED, SILICIFIED RHYOLITE TUFF. ABOUT 140 FT INTO THE ADIT, A STOPE OPENS TO THE SURFACE, AND A 40 DEGREES DECLINE EXTENDS DOWN, THEN STEEPENS BELOW 40 FT. THE OPEN STOPE IS CONNECTED TO AN ADJACENT SHAFT TO THE EAST, ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE ADIT.

Comment (Workings): SHAFTS, ADITS, STOPE
