Comment (Location): THE SWALLOW MINE IS SPREAD OUT AND HAS AT LEAST 7 DIFFERENT SHAFTS IN THE AREA, AND MANY ADITS AND TUNNELS.

Comment (Development): 15 CLAIMS THAT HAVE MANY SURFACE CUTS, SHAFTS AND SHORT TUNNELS. MOST INFORMATION GIVEN HERE IS FROM THE SWALLOW SHAFT IN THE CENTER OF THE OLD IRON SIDES CLAIM.

Comment (Deposit): TWO MAIN VEINS GOING NW TO SE, SEVERAL OTHER VEINS GOING N TO S. BOTH MAY BE THE SAME AGE, M40, 50, AND 60 TAKEN FROM INFORMATION ABOUT THE SWALLOW SHAFT.

Comment (Workings): MANY SHALLOW SURFACE CUTS, SHAFTS, AND SHORT TUNNELS. THE MAIN SHAFTS ARE MOONLIGHT NO. 1 AND NO. 2, SWALLOW, WHIM, AND GOLDEN WONDER 80 FT LEVEL-350 FT OF DRIFT. 200 FT LEVEL-300 FT OF DRIFT

Comment (Geology): DEPOSIT IS QUARTZ VEIN LOCALIZED ALONG LOW-ANGLE FAULT WHICH PROBABLY DISPLACES TERTIARY VOLCANIC ROCKS TO THE SOUTHEAST. DEPOSIT AGE PROBABLY MIOCENE
