Comment (Development): ORE WAS TREATED IN 20 STAMP MILL. CAUSE OF STOPPAGE IN 1874 WAS FLOODING WITH A GREATER VOLUME OF WATER THAN PUMPS COULD HANDLE.
Comment (Deposit): VEIN, 2-20 FT THICK. WELL-DEFINED, WITH SMOOTH WALLS AND CLAY GOUGE.
Comment (Workings): 250 FT AND 350 FT INCLINES LESSEES WERE PUMPING WATER OUT OF SHAFT. AS OF NOV. 1, 1946, THEY WERE WITHIN A FEW FEET OF 250 FT LEVEL. ORE WAS STOPED OUT FROM 250 FT AND 350 FT LEVELS TO SURFACE FOR DISTANCE OF 700 FT DURING EARLIER WORKINGS.
Comment (Deposit): 2 PATENTED CLAIMS.
Comment (Production): MUCH OF THE ORE FROM THE UPPER PORTIONS OF THE MINE WENT OVER $100/TON. CONCENTRATED SULFIDES STATED TO HAVE YIELDED $3000/TON.
