Comment (Development): IN 1933, PROPERTY APPEARED TO HAVE CONSIDERABLE PROSPECTIVE MERIT.

Comment (Deposit): THERE ARE NUMBEROUS VEINS ON THIS PROPERTY BUT THE THREE PRINCIPAL ONES ARE IN THE SCHIST JUST TO THE EAST OF THE DIORITE CONTACT. THE SAN JOAQUIN IS THE MIDDLE VEIN AND THE OTHER TWO DIP TOWARD IT. A FOURTH VEIN, KNOWN AS THE BOBCAT, OUTCROPS ON THE SURFACE TO THE NORTHWEST AND ITS STRIKE INDICATES THAT IT MIGHT INTERSECT THE SAN JOAQUIN VEIN ABOUT 600 FT. NORTHWEST OF THE WINZE IN THE MINE. THESE ARE ALL STRONG VEINS AND IN SOME INSTANCES IT IS KNOWN THAT SOME OF THEM CROSS THE SCHIST-DIORITE CONTACT WITHOUT INTERRUPTION. THEY VARY UP TO 8 FT IN THICKNESS (AS NOW EXPOSED). VEIN FILLING IS QUARTZ OR QUARTZ STRINGERS IN THE SILICIFIED SCHIST.
Comment (Workings): THERE ARE MANY OPEN-CUTS, SHALLOW SHAFTS AND SHORT TUNNELS SCATTERED OVER THE PROPERTY. ON THE CURLY JIM THERE ARE FIVE OLD SHAFTS AND A 70 FT TUNNEL. THE DEEPEST SHAFT IS 100 FT. PRINCIPAL DEVELOPMENT WORK CONSISTS OF A CROSSCUT TUNNEL EAST 275 FT TO THE VEIN. THE WALLS ARE DIORITE. DRIFT WOUTH 120 FT TO CONNECT WITH OLD 90 FT SHAFT AT FACE. SOME VERY SHORT LENSES OF ORE WERE STOPED FROM THESE OLD WORKINGS. THERE IS ALSO A 40 FT RAISE CONNECTING WITH OLD WORKINGS AT 85 FT FROM THE CROSSCUT. THERE IS ALSO A DRIFT NORTH FROM THE CROSSCUT 100 FT. AT 30 FT THERE IS A STOPE 15 AT LONG, 25 FT HIGH AND ABOUT 2 1/2 FT WIDE. TEN FEET NORTH OF THE CROSSCUT IS A SHAFT OR WINZE. THIS IS SUNK 130 FT ON A 45 DEGREE INCLINE. IT STARTED IN THE QUARTZ DIORITE BUT IS IN THE CONTACT AT THE BOTTOM, WHERE IT ALSO LOOKS AS IF TWO OF THESE VEINS ARE COMING TOGETHER, SHOWING A WIDTH OF 7 FT. NO ASSAYS HAD BEEN MADE ON THIS VEIN MATTER BUT IT LOOKED LIKE ORE.
