Comment (Deposit): COREY CANYON IS THE WATER SHED FROM WHICH HAWTHORNE DERIVES ITS DRINKING WATER, AND THEY WANT TO PROTECT THEIR WELLS FROM CONTAMINATION. ENTRANCE TO THE CANYON CAN BE ARRANGED THROUGH THE HAWTHORNE UTILITY AT 395 E. STREET IN HAWTHORNE BETWEEN 8:00 A.M. TO 4:30 P.M.
