Comment (Workings): TWO VERY OLD SHAFTS (WITH HAND CAPSTAN) AND PROSPECT.
Comment (Geology): VEIN IN A SHEAR BETWEEN TWO LARGE OUTCROPS OF SUGARY FELSIC DIKES THAT HAVE BEEN FLOODED BY SILICA. THE DIKES HAVE INTRUDED THIN, GRAY METASEDIMENTS, UNDERLAIN BY GRANITE.
Comment (Deposit): NBMG SAMPLE # 4227 WAS TAKEN FROM DUMPS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SHAFTS AND CONSISTED OF BRECCIA AND QUARTZ WITHOUT VISIBLE MINERALIZATION. FAIR MAIN ROAD TO RAMSEY.
