Comments
Comment (Geology): WELDED RHYOLITIC TUFFS OF TIMBER MTN CALDERA HOST ORE.
Comment (Development): A "BLIND" DISCOVERY USING AN EXPLORATION MODEL BASED ON THE ORE CONTROLS AT THE NEARBY MONTGOMERY-SHOSHONE MINE. THIS MODEL REQUIRED BRITTLE-DEFORMING ROCKS TO PROVIDE OPEN SPACES FOR GOLD DEPOSITION FROM HYDROTHERMAL SOLUTIONS THAT MIGRATED UP ALONG LISTRIC NORMAL FAULTS FROM THE DETACHMENT FAULT. BOND GOLD BULLFROG WAS 99% TALUS COVERED. ONLY TWO SMALL OUTCROPS OF STOCKWORK VEINING WERE FOUND AFTER DISCOVERY. THE DISCOVERY DRILL HOLE WAS THE THIRTEENTH HOLE IN THE AREA. THE ONLY GEOCHEMICAL CLUE AT SURFACE TO THE EXISTENCE OF THE OREBODY WAS A DUMP SAMPLE FROM A 20 FT. DEEP PROSPECT PIT. THIS SAMPLE ASSAYED 190 PPB GOLD. THE PROSPECT PIT MISSED THE ORE ZONE BY 35 FT.
Comment (Location): DO NOT CONFUSE BOND GOLD BULLFROG MINE WITH THE ORIGINAL BULLFROG MINE WHICH LIES 4 MILES WNW (RECORD #M231920).
Comment (Commodity): AU OCCURS AS MICRON SIZE FREE GRAINS IN QUARTZ-CALCITE-ADULARIA VEINS AND QUARTZ STOCKWORKS. COMMON FLUORITE AND BARITE. TRACE CHALCOPYRITE, TETRAHEDRITE, SPHALERITE, GALENA.
