Comment (Development): DEPOSIT WAS HELD BY ANACONDA IN 1977 WHO SOLD IT TO BRUSH-WELLMAN. THE DEPOSIT IS CURRENTLY BEING MINED BYBRUSH-WELLMAN USING OPEN PIT METHODS. MINING OF THIS DEPOSIT BEGAN IN THE 1980'S.
Comment (Deposit): THIS IS ONE OF TWO PITS CURRENTLY SUPPLYING BRUSH-WELLMAN'S MILL AND PROCESSING FACILITY. THE OTHER OPERATING PIT IS IN THE BLUE CHALK DEPOSIT.
