Comment (Deposit): DEPOSITS OCCUR AS VEINS WITHIN A BRECCIA AND GOUGE ZONE ALONG A NORTHWEST STRIKING FAULT. FOUR PATENTED CLAIMS MINERAL SURVEY NUMBER 2129 AND TWO UNPATENTED CLAIMS.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS REPORTED IN 1966 CONSISTED OF A 730 FT. INCLINED SHAFT WITH SEVEN WORKING LEVELS. DRIFTING EXTENDED ABOUT 900 FT. ALONG STRIKE AND THE SURFACE OUTCROP WAS EXPLORED FOR A LENGTH OF 1100 FT.. DRIFTS ON THE 35, 85 AND 135 FT. LEVELS WERE STOPED TO THE SURFACE.

Comment (Geology): THE PORPHYRITIC GRANITE CONTAINS LARGE ORTHOCLASE CRYSTALS, SOME QUARTZ AND CHLORITIZED BIOTITE.

Comment (Location): ACCURATE LOCATION IS FOR THE MAIN SHAFT OF THE SHRINE MINE AS SHOWN ON THE WIND MOUNTAIN TOPOGRAPHIC QUADRANGLE.

Comment (Commodity): SILVER AND GOLD OCCUR IN TRACE

Comment (Production): PRODUCTIVE PERIOD WAS 1936 - 1954. IN 1941 AND 1942 CRUDE ORE AVERAGED 81.0 AND 83.5 PERCENT CAF2 RESPECTIVELY.

Comment (Development): ECON.COM: MOST OF THE ORE WAS TRUCKED 40 KM TO THE SILVER CITY RAILROAD STATION. AFTER 1942, ORE WAS SENT TO GENERAL CHEMICAL'S MILL AT DEMING.
