Comments

Comment (Location): N OF ORIGINAL AND PARROTT MINES. W STEWARD IS THE MAIN SHAFT.

Comment (Deposit): E END OF MINE A LEAN QUARTZ-PRYRITE VEIN (BAILEY VEIN) WAS DEVELOPED. IT HAS A NW STRIKE. ON THE 400 FT LEVEL THE BAILEY VEIN IS CUT OFF BY THE STEWARD FAULT VEIN. BELOW THIS AT THE 600, 700 AND 800 FT LEVEL THE ACQUISITION VEIN. IT STRIKES N75E AND DIPS 70 S. THE STEWARD VEIN ON THE 900 FT LEVEL IS E-W ON THE 1100 FT LEVEL IT IS N 75 E. THE STEWARD VEIN IS CUT AND OFFSET IN THE LEFT-LATERAL SENSE BY SEVERAL SYSTEMS OF NW OR BLUE AGE VEINS STRIKING N40-60W AND DIPPING 35-70 SW (F.W. STEWARD VEIN). THE H.W. STEWARD VEIN THAT STRIKES N80E AND DIPS 30-40 SE IS OFFSET LEFT LATERALLY ALL EARLIERS SYSTEMS. THERE ARE THE BLUE AGE VEINS STRIKING N40-60W AND IPPING 35-90 SW ALSO.

Comment (Workings): IN 1973 9 LEVELS WERE ACTIVE: THE 3400, 3800, 3900, 4000, 4100, 4200, 4400, 4500, AND 4600.

Comment (Geology): POST-MINERAL. RARUS FAULT CUTS NE THROUGH MINE, DIPPING NW, OFFSETTING MAIN STAGE VEIN MINERALIZATION
