Comment (Deposit): SILVER BEARING ORE ALONG BEDDING PLANES OF LIMESTONE, ALSO IN CROSS FRACTURES AND FISSURES CUTTING LIMESTONE AND DIORITE. MOST INTENSE ENRICHMENT OCCURS NEAR CONTACT BETWEEN LIMESTONE AND DIORITE. 2 SYSTEMS OF VEINS, ONE TREND NORTH, OTHER TRENDS EAST.

Comment (Workings): AT 2150 FT. ELEVATION; TUNNEL, DRIVEN S 45 W FOR 250 FT. AT 2150 FT, ANOTHER TUNNEL DRIVEN 136 FT. ON EAST - WEST VEIN. AT 2800 FT, A CROSSCUT TUNNEL IS DRIVEN S 20 E. NUMBER OF SHORT TUNNELS RANGING FROM 20 - 50 FT. IN LENGTH.

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: GEOLOGY IN VICINITY OF MINE IS MADE UP OF SILURIAN AND ORDOVICIAN METAMORPHIC LIMESTONE AND QUARTZITE. LIMESTONE IS CUT BY NUMEROUS INTRUSIONS OF FINE-GRAINED, DARK-GREEN HORNBLENDE DIORITE.
