Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: ORE BODIES OCCUR IN LIMESTONE AND MARBLE FROM CERRO GORDO FORMATION; FORMATION HAS THICKNESS OF 1500 FT., OUTCROPS CONTINUOUSLY FROM CERRO GORDO MINE TO POINT SOUTH OF MOURING STAR WORKINGS, WHERE THE WHITE PINE SHALE FORMATION OF MISSISSIPPIAN AGE OVERLIES IT.

Comment (Deposit): GOLD ORE BODIES FOUND ALONG BEDDING IN LIMESTONE, STRIKE N 50 W, DIP 45 SW, VEIN FILLING IS IRON. STOPE IS 70 FT. IN LENGTH, THICKNESS VARIES, 3 FT - 10 FT. LEAD-ZIN ORE BODIES WERE IRON-STAINED SILICEOUS ORE CARRYING VALUES IN SILVER.
