Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: SERIES OF SILICEOUS MANGANESE OXIDE BLOCKS, 2 TO 5 FT. WIDE, EXPOSED OVER DISTANCE OF 40 FT., AND TREND N 30 W, WITH NEAR VERTICAL DIP. THESE MAY BE FAULTED SEGMENTS OF A SINGLE BED. THEY ARE ASSOCIATED WITH GREENSTONE AND CUT BY QUARTZ VEINS. SOME OF ADJACENT SHALE HAS BEEN CHLORITIZED. ANOTHER ORE BODY IS 10 FT. LONG, 5 FT. WIDE, STRIKES N AND IS NEAR VERTICAL. IT LIES ADJACENT TO 5 FT. THICK GREENSTONE BODY.
