Comment (Workings): SIX CLAIMS; VEINS DO NOT OCCUR CLOSE ENOUGH TOGETHER SO THAT THE MASS CAN BE MINED. WORKING PRESENTLY UNDER WATER, BUT WERE SAID TO CONSIST OF A SHAFT 63 FT., DRIFTING 320 FT 2 CROSSCUTS, AND A RAISE TO THE SURFACE.
Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: A NETWORK OF VEINS WITH STEEP DIPS, STRIKING IN VARIOUS DIRECTIONS, OCCURING IN META-ANDESITE. THICKNESSES RANGE FROM A GOUGE SEAM TO 1 TO 2 FT. OF QUARTZ VEINS.
