Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Location): Deleted MAS record gave PLSS as 42N, R72W, Sec. 26. Probably a very large area, so this difference isn't as bad as it appears.
Comment (Workings): OPERATE URANIUM SOLUTION PILOT PLANT
Comment (Location): Deleted MAS record gave lat/long as 43.57885, -105.47122 (WGS84). Point of Ref: ore body. Accuracy as 1000 m.
Comment (Deposit): Graves, D.H., 2010, Technical Report, Reno Creek Property, Campbell County, Wyoming, USA (dated Oct. 13, 2010): http://sedar.com, Uranerz Energy Corporation, Technical report (NI 43-101) - English, filed Oct. 14, 2010, 52 p.
Comment (Identification): Very likely this is the same property considered as the Reno Creek ISL Project. The private mineral leases are held by Uranerz Energy Corp, Federal Claims by Energy Fuels Nuclear, and the southwest claims by Bayswater Uranium Corp. Property is being reconsidered as an ISL operation.
Comment (General): MSHA database indicates Reno Creek Project was abandoned as of 1982. The controllers at that time were Rocky Mtn. Energy, Mono Power, and Halliburton.
Comment (Reserve-Resource): Resources are provided for each of the 3 properties in the 2 main 43-101 reports cited. Demonstrated (Measured+ Indicated) for Reno Creek (private): Cutoff 0.2%: 3,831,477 tons at 0.056% = 4,292,948 pounds eU3O8 Reno Creek (Federal and SW): 8,268,872 tons @ 0.066% = 10,959,994 pounds eU3O8.
Comment (Location): 3 properties form a contiguous block in all or at least 1/4 of the following sections: T43N, R73W, secs. 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, 34, 35. T43N, R74W, sec. 36 T42N, R73W, sec. 6 T42N, R74W, secs. 1, 12.
