Comment (Commodity): THE ORE CONTAINS SEVERAL HUNDRED OUNCES OF SILVER PER TON

Comment (Geology): THE WORKINGS ARE LOCATED ON THE EASTERN FLANK OF OPHIR ANTICLINE; WALLROCKS ARE HIGHLY DEFORMED AND ALTERED; THE ORE IS HIGHLY OXIDIZED.

Comment (Workings): THE MINE IS DEVELOPED BY TWO PRINCIPAL DRIFTS, 900 AND 300 FT. LONG, WITH SOME SMALLER DRIFTS AND INCLINES AND RAISES CONNECTING THEM, BOTH LOWER AND HIGHER THAN PRINCIPAL DRIFTS. STOPES 6 FT. HIGH AND 4 FT. WIDE ALONG THE JIM FISK FISSURE WERE OPENED ON THE UPPER TUNNEL LEVEL. THIS FISSURE WAS MINED FOR 250 FT. THE STOPES ALONG THE GREEN EYED MONSTER FISSURE WERE BOTH ABOVE AND BELOW THE SHALE AND ARE ABOUT 30 FT. HIGH WHERE THE MINE WAS ACCESSIBLE. THEY PLUNGE PARALLEL TO THE DIP OF THE BEDS, AND WERE MINED FOR A WIDTH OF 5 FT.

Comment (Deposit): THE ORE ZONE IS LOCATED IN FOUR FISSURES, CHIEFLY ALONG THE GREEN EYED MONSTER AND THREE OF THE N10 DEGREES-30 DEGREES FISSURES-THE GEM, JIM FISK AND SAN JOAQUIN.
