Comments
Comment (Deposit): ANOMALIES IN SOIL SAMPLES WERE FOUND NEAR THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF THE VICTOR HUGO CLAIM (CU, PB, ZN ANOMALY) AND BETWEEN THE VICTOR HUGO AND MAHOGANY NO. 2 CLAIMS (AG, CU ANOMALY). MINERALIZED FAULT ZONES ON THE PATENTED CLAIMS PROBABLY EXTEND NORTHWARD IN THE SUBSURFACE, AND INTO INDIAN LAND (GOSHUTE RESERVATION).
Comment (Geology): ALTHOUGH ONLY LIMESTONE FLOAT WAS NOTED ON THE SURFACE, ON THE BASIS OF SOIL SURVEY SATKOSKI AND SOKASKI BELIEVE MINERALIZED FAULT ZONES ON THE PATENTED CLAIMS PROBABLY EXTEND NORTHWARD IN THE SUBSURFACE INTO INDIAN LAND.
Comment (Location): PREVIOUS QUAD DESIGNATION = GRAND JUNCTION 1:250000
Comment (Development): ROCK SAMPLES (NO.2, NO.3) FROM ADIT ON VICTOR HUGO CLAIM, AND SOIL SAMPLING (SATKOSKI AND SOKASKI, 1980).
Comment (Workings): ADIT ON VICTOR HUGO CLAIM
