Comments
Comment (Location): LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE PORTNEUF VALLEY.
Comment (Development): THE TOPAZ DOLOMITE MINING CLAIM WAS LOCATED IN APRIL, 1942 BY G. MYER. ITS LEGALITY IS QUESTIONABLE SINCE DOLOMITE IS A LEASEABLE COMMODITY. THIS CLAIM COVERS ONLY A PORTION OF THE DOLOMITE EXPOSURE.
Comment (Deposit): THE LAKETOWN DOLOMITE CROPS OUT IN MANY PLACES IN THE LAVA HOT SPRINGS AREA AND WAS INVESTIGATED BY CHARLES F. DEISS OF THE U.S.G.S. IN 1942 AND 1943. SEVERAL REPORTS FROM THIS AREA ARE ON FILE IN SPOKANE, WA. ; INFO.SRC : 2 UNPUB REPT
