Comment (Geology): EOCENE SANDSTONE OF THE SWAUK FORMATION IS CUT BY NUMEROUS BASALT DIKES AND GOLD-QUARTZ VEINS. THE GOLD-QUARTZ VEINS APPEAR TO BE LOCALIZED ALONG THE SAME FRACTURE SYSTEM AS THE DIKES.
