Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = At this occurrence chalcopyrite, galena, pyrite, and sphalerite occur in a shear zone (Atwood, 1909) cutting Miocene andesite (Wilson and others, 1995). Atwood mentions several prospects and one short adit, all abandoned at the time of his visit.
