Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: NUMEROUS LARGE BLOCKS OF MANGANIFEROUS IRON ORE ARE ASSOCIATED WITH GREENSTONE AND SERPENTINE. THE RED IRON ORE IS BRITTLE, STAINED WITH MANGANESE OXIDE, WITH SOME SMALL POCKETS OF GOOD GRADE MANGANESE ORE. OCCASIONAL BANDS OF RED TO BROWN JASPER ARE PRESENT.
