Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: BEDDED WAD DEPOSIT IN TERTIARY LAKE BEDS (?) ORE BODY CONSISTS OF BEDDED MANGANESE OXIDE IN CONGLOMERATE AND SANDSTONE. 3 BEDS OF MANGANESE ARE FOUND IN A ZONE 10 TO 12 FEET THICK. THE GRADE IS PROBABLY NOT OVER 5 PERCENT MANGANESE.
