Comment (Location): ON WEST FLANK OF NORTHERN END OF SAND SPRINGS RANGE

Comment (Development): 6 UNPATENTED CLAIMS

Comment (Deposit): MOSTLY MAGNETITE WITH SOME HEMAYITE ALONG CONTACT BETWEEN LIMESTONE AND DRORITE; MOST OF ORE IN THE DIORITE. IRON ORE CROPS OUT IN TWO AREAS, 200 FT W. OF SHAFT AND 600 FT. NORTH OF SHAFY, THE NORTH OUTCROP IS 100 FEET LONG, 30 FT WIDE AND DIPS 45 DEG W. THE WEST OUTCROP IS 50 FT LONG AND 25 FT WIDE.

Comment (Workings): SEVERAL SMALL ADITS AND PITS; OLD SHAFT 256 FEET DEEP ON A COPPER PROSPECT CUT IRON ORE NEAR THE BOTTOM.

Comment (Geology): LIMESTONE HAS BEEN INTRUDED AND RECRYSTALLIZED TO MARBLE BY ADIORITIC ROCK WEST OF PROSPECT. EAST OF SHAFT THE LIMESTONE IS OVERLAIN BY TERTIARY (?) ANDESITE. THE DIORITIC ROCK AND LIMESTONE ARE CUT BY APLITE DIKES. THE LIMESTONE STRIKES N AND DIPS 70-80 W
