The Radovan Group: Greenstone claims is a copper and silver mine located in Alaska.
About the MRDS Data:
All mine locations were obtained from the USGS Mineral Resources Data System. The locations and other information in this database have not been verified for accuracy. It should be assumed that all mines are on private property.
Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Exploration): Status = Active
Comment (Deposit): Model Name = Basaltic Cu
Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = Chalcocite-rich vein within a major normal fault zone in Triassic Nikolai Greenstone. Fault zone strikes N 15 to 26 E, and dips 73 SE. Vein is 1 to 8 in wide over 150 ft slope distance, widens to 4 ft over distance of 10-15 ft, then pinches out abruptly. Vein is located on same fault zone as Radovan: Low Contact prospect (MC160).
Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = Explored by two short adits. Three channel samples assayed 50 ppm Ag each.
Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = MacKevett and Smith, 1968
Comment (Deposit): Other Comments = See also: Radovan Low Contact prospect (MC160). Both Greenstone and Low Contact prospects are located on same major fault that strikes N 15 to 26 E, and dips 73 SE.
Comment (Commodity): Ore Material = Copper (native)
