OLD SHAFT AT SAMPLE SITE 1564 EXPLORES AREA OF JASPEROID, SILICA VEINING WITH HEAVY MNO-HEMATITE STAINING. NO STRUCTURE VISIBLE AT CAVED SHAFT COLLAR BUT OXIDES APPEAR TO HAVE ORIGINATED IN REPLACEMENT POD IN LIMESTONE. PITS UPSLOPE TO THE NW EXPLORE PODS AND LENSES OF WHITE CRYSTALLINE BARITE-CALCITE ALONG N40W, 45SW SHEAR ZONE CUTTING GREY LIMESTONE.
