Comments
Comment (Deposit): Discovery Year: EARLY 1900'S
Comment (Workings): SEVERAL SHAFTS AND PROSPECTS, THE LARGEST OF WHICH IS THE EASTERN WORKING, THE WYOMING SHAFT, A 212-FT INCLINE WITH A 250-FT DRIFT AT THE BOTTOM AND A SECOND SHALLOWER SHAFT ABOUT A HALF MILE WEST. TRENCHING ACROSS THE TREND.
Comment (Deposit): EARLY WORKINGS AND CENTURION CLAIMS ARE ALIGNED ALONG A N 75 W-BEARING VEIN TRACEABLE ON THE SURFACE FOR ABOUT 0.6 MILE BETWEEN THE TWO MAJOR WORKINGS, AND POSSIBLY PROJECTING FARTHER IN BOTH DIRECTIONS ALONG STRIKE. THE STEEPLY-DIPPING QUARTZ VEIN IS HOSTED IN VOLCANICS THAT FORM THE BEDROCK OF A PEDIMENT IN WHICH THE VEIN IS USUALLY COVERED BY A THIN VENEER OF SOILS AND GRAVEL. EXPLORATION TARGET IS A PRECIOUS METAL ORE SHOOT OF THE TONOPAH-TYPE VEIN SYSTEM.
