Comment (Geology): STREAM VALLEY DEEPLY INCISED, NARROW, AND ASYMMETRIC, WITH A STEEP WEST WALL. ; MAJOR.UNITS: BEDROCK IS BANDED ARGILLITE AND LAMINATED PHYLLITE CUT BY GRANULAR INTRUSIVES AND QUARTZ VEINS. BEDROCK STRIKES ABOUT NW AND DIPS MODERATELY SW. ; REG.COM: GOLD PROBABLY DERIVED FROM QUARTZ AND CALCITE VEINS IN PHYLLITE.
