Comment (Deposit): AURIFEROUS VEIN IN SCHIST. THE COUNTRY ROCK AND ORE, AS SEEN ON DUMP, APPEARS TO BE THE SAME AS THAT FROM THE NEWSBOY VEIN.
Comment (Location): USGS MF-413, LOC. 37. MINE 500 FT. NE OF NEWSBOY MINE (MARKED ON LIVENGOOD (A-1)), ALONG THE STEESE HIGHWAY ABOUT 2 MILES NNE OF PEDRO DOME. LAND STATUS VALUE CALCULATED 6-94 USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS WITH BLM 1:2,500,000 SCALE OWNERSHIP STATUS MAP (1991).
